Pet Partners Handler's Class
(you must take the handler's class before evaluating)
Future classes aren't yet scheduled. They are typically held at the
Shawnee County Topeka Public Library, 9am-5pm
Cost of the class is $20

Prairieland is a fun and friendly group of folks from the heartland who are interested in promoting the human/animal bond.
Our group provides registered pet therapy teams to nursing homes, retirement homes, hospitals, schools and other facilities that can benefit from interactions with a therapy animal.
The Association meets 4 times a year, participates in local community events and provides speakers to various organizations.
We encourage evaluation and registration of animals to ensure that they are welcome at every facility. Our members belong to: Pet Partners or Alliance of Therapy Dogs.

Starting in 2023, dues are $30 for Active members or $20 for Associate members. They are due annually on January 1.
